Digital Version of Programming Entity Framework is Live!

I just went to check for new feedback on the Rough Cuts for my book and saw that the feedback is gone and the final version of the book is available.

That means that the Rough Cuts readers now have access to the final version of the book as well. Safari subscribers, too.

The physical book won't be back from the printer until Monday, I'm told. Amazon seems to think they won't be able to start shipping until the 12th, but I'm hoping that will be earlier. O'Reilly might be able to ship sooner. Don't forget that most user groups have a 35% discount available for purchasing directly at OReilly.com.

Tony, the downloads are currently on my own site for the book at www.learnentityframework.com/downloads. When Safari puts them up, they will be accessible from the Examples link that you can see as a subscriber on the book's website at my.safaribooksonline.com/.../9780596156244

So far I really like the book. However, one suggestion that I would have made. Many books choose way to simple of a "real-life" example.I understand the need for this and believe you did good. But I would say the relationships could have been just slightly more complex so that you could speak to them. For instance, you have a many-to-many join between Equipment and Activity.I would have suggested adding a Count field to the schema to show how EF will handle that. Then you could have spoken to the fetch/update/insert scenario in those cases.Actually you may have, and if so please let me know where.I don't usually read these books cover to cover but rather search out the information I need. This is a problem I am currently facing, and since I knew the book was available on my Safari Library I went and grabbed it.All in all great work.
