Getting ready for the printer

I'm working back and forth with the production editor at O'Reilly to put the final touches on my book. She tells me it heads to the printer next Friday.

What ever will I do with myself after next week? ;-)

My goodness, you got there before me! Congratulations.Mine doesn't go to the printer until early next month. I have plenty to do with conferences coming up through until June or so though. Somewhere in between I hope to take Delia on a holiday somewhere sunny!

Yeah, and you with a one year or so head start *and* a co-author! ;-)Rich has also just finished the roof (that he had started on when I was in London with you guys) so we're having a Roof/Book completion party for our neighbors.

amazon.co.uk has the very precise date of 12 Feb 2009.The US sites are much coyer about a date.Do you know if that 12 Feb date has any credence to it?If it does go to print on the 23rd I'd guess that three weeks might see it in the Amazon warehouses.Clearly I have no idea how long these things take.Cheers,- Richard

Hi RichardI just noticed today that Amazon pushed the date back again. I'm not at all happy about that. I have emailed the folks at O'Reilly to find out what the scoop is.
