Earlier this month, O'Reilly and Microsoft New England hosted a "non-partisan" user group leader summit at Microsoft's New England R&D Center in Cambridge Mass. What a cool place to host the event!
I was unable to attend as I had a long standing date to attend the 25th anniversary party of a client whom I have worked for for over 12 years. This was hard for me. I loved the u.g. leader summits we had when I was heavily involved with INETA and there was funding to transport the leaders to a common location.
Fortunately, Rob Hale, who has been a great help to me with the VTdotNET group was eager to go and it worked out nicely to make it a family trip since his relatives live there.
Rob wrote a blog post about the summit,Notes from the New England User Group Leadership Summit, which also points to other write ups on it. Rob's post is a great place to start!
