Entity Framework Thursday night (2/12) at OttawaSQL.NET/Ottawa Community.NET

I'll be presenting on EF in Ottawa on Thursday night at a joint meeting of the OttawaSQL.net and Ottawa Community.NET user groups. I'm happily bringing along two copies of my book (thanks O'Reilly) to give away as well as two licenses to Huagati's Tools for DBML/EDMX.

I have been wanting to get there for a while, but the 4 1/2 hour drive has kept me at bay. However, this trip will be combined with a mini-vacation with my husband and some friends who are driving up from Woodstock, NY to enjoy Ottawa's Winterlude Festival. There's going to be a big melt-down on Wednesday but hopefully snow & ice (where desired) will be in place for a ski in Gatineau Park on Friday and skating on the canal over the weekend. I haven't skated in a long time. I sure hope I'm up to it!

Julie we really want you to come to Dallas.net usergroup. Have you ever spoke in dallas.net usergroup. Its a fairly large usergroup who can benefit from your Ef talks.Zeeshan Hirani

But they have a resident EF guru there - you! :-) Except I see that someone else is speaking on EF at the group this week anyway. Why aren't you giving a talk on EF? ;-) I have been to Dallas - for a TechEd years ago. I just remember that it as hot!
