More on Oslo & Data Programmability merger

On Tuesday I blogged that the Oslo + Data Programmability (EF, ADO.NET, etc.) Teams Merged.

Well, I guess it was public and I could have talked about it a long time ago after all.

Elisa Flasko from the DP team pointed out this SD Times article from April 1.

Microsoft combines SOA and storage business units

One question has been "which team absorbed which"?

Well, the merger was actually much bigger than just Oslo and DP. The entire Connected Systems team and Storage Platforms team (think of that as SQL, with Data Programmability inside of SQL, not DevDiv as one might think) came together.

And it was not a matter of one team being absorbed by another.

A whole new group was created: The Business Platform Division.

Hey Julie, I recall a blog posting, over the last year or so, where you had a really cool way of generating a comma separated list using one of the extension methods. I wanted that functionality today and I can't find the blog post. Now I'm wondering if maybe it wasn't you who blogged it. Can you put my mind at rest and point out the post?

Thanks.

Thanks. Now you pointed me at SO - I think *that's* the post I saw before. I bow to your superior Google skills. :-)
