The Enterprise solutions SWAT team is seeking a bright, energetic, and process driven Database Programmer to join our team.

Overview: The SWAT team is responsible for the continued Level 3 support of all Enterprise applications for existing releases. Responsibilities also include providing occasional off-cycle enhancements and support for the release currently in development.

The ideal candidate must have proven experience in data analysis, database design, SQL programming, ability to program in Visual Basic and C# is ideal. A strong background programming on SQL and/or Oracle databases would be preferred.

The candidate must have excellent organization and communication skills. Ability and flexibility to get things done is a must!

Database Skills
• A comprehensive understanding of SQL Server 2000 and 2005. Understanding of Oracle databases would also be acceptable.
• A understanding of relational database design, data modeling, and stored procedures.
• Experience in writing optimized queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Tuning for performance of existing stored procedures and reports.
• Physical design and implementation of databases a plus
Responsibilities
• Provide Level 3 support for technical issues in the Enterprise applications. This includes working very closely with the Level 2 support team.
• Implementation of new features into the Enterprise product

Other Requirements
• Previous experience supporting managing a customer database, marketing data, and associated queries and analysis is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills required to be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work in a fast paced team environment and meet deadlines.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline is required. Professional certification may be substituted.
