While I was using the release candidate of IE8, I missed the Google toolbar, especially for the auto-fill feature for forms. But it is compatible with the final release of IE8 so it reappeared without all of the incompatibility warnings.
Another thing that I'll be watching for is the frequent rogue IEExplore.exe instances hanging around in memory that I always had to go kill directly in the task bar. I have faith that this will no longer be a problem.
On the bright side, I'm already fond of the developer toolbar and some of the accelerators. I look forward to having numerous web slices available to me in the future to build my own web page views.
The one thing I wish I could do with IE is to take a tab and split it off to another IE container. There have been so many times when I have a few pages open in various tabs and realize I want to see them side by side on my separate monitors. But I have to start up another instance of IE and re-open one of those sites in that window. Maybe IE9. :-)
