Twitter Ate my Blog

I joined Twitter on May 30th (http://twitter.com/julielermanvt). Since then I have written over 500 tweets. I realize that I have written only FIVE blog posts this month. Five in 15 days. If you know me, you will probably find that as shocking as I do.

That's OK. Twitter ate my blog reading time! My RSS feeds are overflowing with unread posts!

What can You do, Twitter is necessary if You want Your blog to be popular. But I find Twitter so bloggish that maybe it will really consume some of blog's community.

I usually write a blog and then tweet about it in public. People do send in a lot of comments and interactions happen on twitter but there is no easy way to capture those interactions and show it on the blog post under discussion. Hoping there will be a plugin soon to integrate twitter and blogging.

Why me? I don't know, maybe he just wants to talk to me. The room itself, just down the hall from the "kitchen," is half the size of my little outpost in Motel 6 and contains two unmade twin beds, a two-drawer chest, a couple of light bulbs on the ceiling, and nothing else. On account of the heat, there are still a few actual bathers on the beach, but I am content to sit in shorts and T -shirt and watch the ocean pummel the sand.
