Shouldn't the Silverlight ToolKit include VB Code Samples?

The Silverlight Toolkit folks at Microsoft are prioritizing their "Honey Do" list and one of the items on it is to be sure that more of their examples are in VB, not just C#. Of course, the toolkit should have originally had both C# and VB examples, but that's a different issue.

In order for that item to be high on their list, they need to see that there is a demand for it. So if you are a VB developer and would like to see the ToolKit include VB examples, go to their CodePlex site, sign in and vote for that item.

Here's a link for you:

bah!If all you VB.NET folks would just learn C# we wouldn't need to worry about this problem ;)

Oh, very funny, Mikey. :-)Think of it this way. Imagine you wanted to learn Silverlight and the team said "it's kinda like WPF, so just go look at the WPF samples and you can figure out the rest". Julie

Hi Julie,I am very happy to see more people speak up on behalf of VB programmers and thank you for the book references you left on my blog.VB books on the latest technologies (Ling, WPF and Silverlight) are very scarce.I have added links to these books on my front page, a link to your forthcoming new book( in reply to your comment), and a link back to your blog. There was one little problem with the book titles.I have started using Safari Online, and althought they have the C# versions available online, Safari does NOT have the VB versions available online. If you know the authors or have an inside track with Apress maybe you could add a little pressure to the powers that be.
