Lora Heiny attended teh training in San Jose, CA yesterday and reports on what developers were asking and what answers they were getting.
Last year I was using my pitchfork to get big clumps of grass out of my raised bed when I decided to plant in it after all. After one particular hearty plunge into the grass, I raised up the pitchfork to find a poor froggie half-way up one of the tines – skewered. It took me a while to get over being the perpretrator of that tragedy.
Well, I just came in from my foray with the weedeater in the grass and weeds that grow out by our split rail fence where there are also a lot of plantings. I just can’t do it any more. I know I’m going to go to amphibian hell now when I die. I accidentally weedwhacked a poor garden snake in half. I stood out there for 10 minutes saying “I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry” and just could’t bare to turn the thing back on again. I guess I’ll let Rich whack my beautiful plants if need be…
whaaaaaaa… poor little snake. It’s not even like it was a worm. Remember 10th grade biology? Cut a worm in half and you just have two worms…no problem.
Poor little snake. I’ll just sit here at my computer where I can’t do any harm…
wiht one day to go (Saturday doesn’t count since my flight is at 7am) I need to start doin’ my laundry and packing. of course, that’s not happening. I’m working , have an old friend coming for dinner tonight and really want to do some weed whacking around the flowers cause if I leave that for Rich to do the good stuff will all be gone when I return from San Diego.

I can see referrals coming in from people’s websites where the teched bloggers feed is. THat means the idea is working. Good job, Drew. I have one here, too, but it might be too low down on the page…
Sam has hung up (as in put away) his “consultant” sign and signed on the dotted line as a W-2 kinda guy. It had to have taken some awesome company and job to do that, and from the sounds of it Adesso Systems was the one that did it for him. Here is his announcement of his new job – oh the dreamy job title: “Chief .NET Architect” 🙂 – and an introduction to the company as well. If Sam is impressed with this company and the product, this is definitely something to keep an eye on!
