Tossing memory chips?

I just bought more memory for both of my laptops.

I removed 256 chips from each of them. I can’t think of anything to do but throw them in the garbage except that I see crucial sells the one I just took out of my Toshiba M200 for $43.00 and the ones I took out of my compaq are also $43 each. So that adds up to $129 and suddenly maybe I don’t know if I should just chuck ’em. Perhaps I’ll give  them a try on ebay…

Need searching for your website?

Congrats to Scott Cate and company on a killer feature of EasySearchASP.NET. The tool lets you incorporate a search engine very easily right into your own website. But the new feature is “hints”. It is REALLY cool. You can see it best right on the EasySearchASP.NET site by searching for something on that site. On the home page is a search box. Just go start typing in it…..

Cool, huh?

You don’t have to rely on visitors knowing how to use google’s site:www.mysite.com parameter to search your website.

I like it. But the hints is super duper slick.

New Icons to be included with VS2005

Soma announces that we will have new icons so we can build programs that look like the programs we USE! Hip Hip Hooray!!!

many cheers for Microsoft responding to this very loud roar from developers.

I know I was one of bajillions who asked for this.

The icons and bitmaps that are given to us in VS2003 to use in our apps are the same as the ones that have been around for as long as I can remember … maybe even since FoxPro 2.5?

Show us your DNS – help us track and solve a DNS problem

Peter Provost is trying to help solve the DNS problems that the IDEP site is having. This is the organization I have been working with for the past 8 days in Bali, bringing supplies and aid workers into Aceh Province. We need data from different locations as they try to resolve the IDEP site’s IP. Peter has instrux as to how to do this and to submit your results. It’s a problem that is effecting email and the ability to browse and during this crisis in Indonesia, this communication is critical. Thanks for your help.
