  1. I recently did some interviewing for an architect position. The most important thing I gleaned was that this company is a COMPLETE mess. They’ve done multiple recent mergers and the quality of their product ranges has suffered greatly….this straight from folks I was interviewing with. Also 60% of their developers are in India and it appears that the offshoring isn’t going so well. To make up for it they are working people in the US like dogs. The folks I interviewed mentioned regular 50 hour work weeks and 80 hours during product release. How they can get and retain decent talent with that type of mentality is beyond me.

The one benefit to interviewing with them is that I came to appreciate my current place of work 1000% times more and that I learned of a great stock to short!
