Julie,"ADO.NET 3.5" sounds like the right name to me if you’re compiling to NETFx 3.5 for LINQ and Entity Framework/Data Platform. Have you heard something official on this? The only reference to "ADO.NET 3.5" I’ve found on a microsoft.com site is in a presentation blurb on this page: http://www.microsoft.com/…/architects.mspx
Along the lines of ADO.NET 2.0, I do think ADO.NET 3.5 is it. It’s just funny that we’ve gotten used to calling it ADO.NET Orcas. 🙂
